Each year, GCU staff and students have the opportunity to choose an Angel Tag from the University's Angel Christmas Tree. Each tag represents a local child who is in need during the holiday season.
Staff and students donate toys and clothing for the children, whose parents are then invited to campus to "shop" among the donated items for gifts for their children.
More than 300 families visit the GCU campus for the event, and while the parents are shopping, the children are treated to snacks and a visit with Santa.
