Grand Canyon University's Run to Fight Children's Cancer is an annual event that features a 10K run, a 5K run/walk and a quarter-mile Cancer Survivors' Walk.
Each year, more than 12,000 children in the United States are diagnosed with cancer. So far, the Run to Fight Children's Cancer has raised more than $70,000 to support the children and families fighting this disease. Proceeds from the upcoming race on March 8, 2014 will benefit Phoenix Children's Hospital and the Children's Cancer Network.
The Run to Fight Children's Cancer is a lively and inspirational event that brings more than 3,000 runners and spectators to the GCU campus, offering hours of family-friendly fun, including jump castles, arts and crafts, music, professional sports team mascots and other entertainment.
