Veterans Center Provides Dedicated Space to Students

At Grand Canyon University, we recognize the need to serve the men and women who serve our nation's military. The University created its new campus Veterans Center to link resident, commuter and online military students with personalized assistance tailored to veterans.

The Veterans Center opened as a hub for GCU student veterans and their families to network and study. The center is staffed with a school-certifying official who can assist students with questions or concerns about their military education benefits.

GCU's Veterans Center is also equipped with Wi-Fi and a textbook exchange. Future plans include a laptop rental system to help veterans stay connected on campus.

University officials also envision the center as a place to host evening educational events with guest speakers on topics critical to the veteran community. Our objective is to care for our veteran students like VIP guests, helping to link them with the resources to help them meet their academic goals.

Conveniently located along the main promenade in Building 18, the Veterans Center is a comfortable lounge with plenty of seating.
