GCU Alum, Paula Barnes, Finds Her Calling

GCU Alumni Paula BarnesPaula Barnes’ career path took a radical detour, arriving at an unforeseen destination, but she still ended up in the right place. Barnes, a Phoenix native, graduated from Grand Canyon University (then Grand Canyon College) in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and set out for Nashville with a music career in her sight. While pursuing her dreams, a new career blossomed. Read more here.

Baby Averi is 12 months old and the daughter of alumna, Karin Fedorsha, M.S. in Leadership ’13, and James Mitchell, M.B.A. with an Emphasis in Leadership ’13. Both are also GCU employees!
