Welcome to GCU!

Grand Canyon University (GCU) has been helping students find their purpose and achieve their potential for more than 60 years. We continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our students, offering quality academics, a variety of student life activities and generous scholarship opportunities. At GCU, a private, Christian education can also be an affordable one.

Big things are happening at GCU. Building on our rich academic, fine arts and athletic history, we've committed more than $240 million to expanding our campus in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. With plans for more new construction, a move up to Division I athletics and a growing student body, this is just the beginning.

CCSC Scholarship Program

Students graduating from a Canyon Christian Schools Consortium (CCSC) member high school can receive up to an $5,000 GCU scholarship. Further, this scholarship is awarded each year tuition was paid at a CCSC member high school, which could total $20,000 toward college tuition over the course of four years. The CCSC scholarship may also be combined with additional campus freshman scholarship awards.

Why Choose GCU

Academic Excellence - Quality academic programs prepare students with the knowledge and hands-on experience they need to be effective leaders in today's global marketplace.

Convenience - At GCU, you can take courses at our traditional campus in sunny Phoenix, Arizona, or online.

Experiencing Rapid Growth - With more than $240 million in campus expansion and renovations, including new residence halls, classrooms and the 5,000-seat GCU Arena, we continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our students.

Affordability - GCU offers the quality of a private, Christian education and the affordability of a state university.

Christian Worldview - Grand Canyon University believes quality education and faith can coexist in the 21st century. In order to help students find their purpose, we incorporate aspects of our Christian heritage into everything we do.

Education Meets Affordability

Grand Canyon University offers numerous ways to finance your education. Scholarship awards, early registration, transfer status and whether you choose to live on- or off-campus all factor into how much you'll pay each semester.

To take some of the guesswork out, GCU has broken down total costs for incoming freshmen attending school full-time at our main campus for the 2013-2014 school year, including tuition, housing and a generous meal plan.
