Show Your GCU Spirit by Participating at Canyon Day 2014!

Here at GCU, we devote an entire day each year to putting our 'Lopes up and celebrating our wonderful community, culture and campus life. Employees, family, friends, current students, alumni and fans of GCU are all invited to celebrate and see what 'Lope pride is all about!

Canyon Day is a volunteer-driven event and we need your help to make it a success!

All GCU-affiliated groups may participate and represent GCU at Canyon Day 2014, including athletics teams, campus groups, clubs, departments and residence halls. Canyon Day volunteer groups are encouraged to participate in this fun festival by hosting a booth!

Host a Booth at Canyon Day!

If your team chooses to host its own booth, you may be eligible to receive up to a $50 budget from event services for "supplies." These supplies can help you to create a fun and interactive experience at the festival, such as crafts, games, etc.

To retrieve your $50 from event services:

1. Determine how you want to use your $50 and create a shopping list through one of these websites: Oriental Trading ( and/or Office Depot (

2. Place an order through event services. This applies to groups that do not have a GCU purchasing card (P-Card) of their own. If you have a GCU P-Card, you will need to provide receipts to event services to retrieve the correct budget code. Turn in your shopping list with item description/name, code and quantity as well as booth contact information by Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. Contact  or  for more details.

3. Once the items are received, we will contact you for pickup.

Volunteer resignation is now closed. Please join us for a fun-filled day on March 1st at Canyon Day 2014!
