Grand Canyon University offers rigorous master's in education programs with a variety of specialties, all of which provide teachers with the skills necessary to meet the diverse demands of today's classrooms or prepare them to shift to a career in educational administration.
We also offer master's in education programs that may lead to an endorsement in an area of expertise, such as Reading or Technology. In addition, GCU's College of Education allows graduate students to apply the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification (NBCT) to courses within many of its graduate-level programs of study.
The online master's in education programs at GCU allow students to attend class around their busy schedule, so they don't have to take time away from teaching to earn their degree. Some master's in education cohorts are also offered at our traditional campus, located in the heart of Phoenix, AZ. Our master's in education programs take, on average, 15-18 months to complete.
