At Grand Canyon University, we offer four main disciplines in Fine Arts, including theatre, music, dance, and film. Each of these programs uses a cooperative approach where fine arts students are located in one college so they are able to train collaboratively, preparing students for a future where their skills are able to cross over into other disciplines.
For those interested in a career in teaching in the fine arts, we offer bachelor's degrees in music education, theatre education and dance education. Each of these programs leads to a teaching certification and involves a student teaching experience.
We also offer degrees that prepare students to pursue performance careers in Fine Arts, including a bachelor's degree in theatre and drama, and a bachelor's degree in music (with the choice to specialize in piano or voice).
Grand Canyon University also offers a digital film degree with the choice of specializing in screenwriting or production. The production emphasis is tailored for students interested in the technical and creative side of making a film, whereas the screenwriting emphasis involves writing and molding stories into films
