Award Nominations

How to nominate:

Only pre-licensure BSN students are eligible for nomination. You may nominate yourself or others.

1. Read the descriptions of the awards on the following pages carefully. 
2. In approximately 200 words, describe a typical situation(s) and/or scenario(s) that support and acknowledge that the individual fulfills the criteria for the specific award. 
3. Email your nomination to Kristin Cline NO LATER THAN October 29, 2012. (kristin.cline@gcu.edu) Submissions will not be accepted after the deadline.

Leadership Award
This award recognizes graduate's growth as a leader. Leadership development may include activities in the Student Nurses Association, College of Nursing and/or University committee or leadership positions.

Community Service Award 
This award is given in recognition of voluntary service or mission activities that occurred while a student is in the program. The service/mission activity is to be consistent with the goals of the institution, and contribute to personal growth as well as that of those served.

Peer Recognition Award 
This award recognizes the student from the graduating class who has demonstrated significant support, encouragement and Christian values.
