Student Nurses Association (SNA)

The Grand Canyon University Student Nurses' Association (SNA) is a student led organization which provides valuable resources to student nurses and the community. The SNA represents a coalition of nursing students who take pride in their school, community, and future career as exemplified through selfless acts of volunteerism. The SNA is committed to promoting professionalism and leadership through "Keys for Success" which includes: leadership training, participation in community events and guest speakers, training, networking, mentorship, resume building and forging friendships with fellow nursing students. The SNA offers all members the opportunity to be recognized for their volunteer efforts with a Service Recognition Awards Program.

NSNA

The GCU SNA is affiliated with the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA) and provides a gateway for students to become involved in a professional nursing organization. SNA is an organization for nursing students focused on the professional development of future nurses. NSNA students participate in numerous community outreach events, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities. NSNA's mission is to mentor nursing students to exhibit professionalism through leadership and member involvement in the organization. There are currently over 60,000 members in NSNA nationwide.

The GCU SNA is also affiliated with the Arizona State Student Nurses' Association which provides additional opportunities for nursing students to generously give back their time, energy and talents at state hosted events and community service projects. http://www.azsna.org/
