The Service Recognition Program was created to recognize the valuable contributions of volunteers who have devoted their time, energy, leadership and talents towards the betterment of the Student Nurses Association and our community. The program represents a method for honoring and thanking those individuals who have made contributions to the SNA and our community encouraging others to serve. The program recognizes and honors those who demonstrate a standard of service, a commitment to others and the community, and in doing so inspire others to ascribe to these principles.
The Service Recognition Awards Ceremony is a semi-formal event which is by invitation only. The honorees family and friends are invited to attend via invitation from the honoree. During the Awards Ceremony, honorees receive their service award and a photo montage of the honoree's journey through nursing school is presented along with candle lighting ceremony. Ceremonies are typically held the week of graduation and include a light meal.
