Grand Canyon University’s Tucson Campus
The Grand Canyon University Tucson nursing programs are located at 5099 E. Grant Rd. in the Atrium Professional Building. Thirty students are admitted twice a year, in January and August, and are enrolled in the fast track program, which involves 5 consecutive semesters of intensive classroom instruction and clinical practice in hospitals and community agencies throughout the Tucson community, culminating in the awarding of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Students complete their first two years of college, including the nursing prerequisites, prior to entry into the nursing program.
The MSN: Family Nurse Practitioner program is also offered at the Tucson campus and is expecting its first cohort to graduate in the summer of 2012. Interest continues to grow in the Tucson community for the advance practice program and MSN degree. Currently, students are admitted twice a year, Spring and Fall.
