Below is a sample from a daily lesson plan developed by our instructors. Based on the subject, students engage their creative, vocabulary, and sensory skills through a variety of activities.

Parent Home Connection  
We are headed to the beach to explore the ocean. The students will be discussing what types of animals live in the ocean and how can we help protect them. We will also be working on map skills, using a globe, to identify the 5 oceans of the world

Commotion in the Ocean

Objective:The students will list the animals that live in the ocean
and one trait about them as discussed in the book Commotion in the Ocean.

Map Skills
Using a globe the students will identify the 5 different oceans.
Sensory
The students will design an ocean in our sensory table.
Explore the different animals and plants that live in the ocean.

Cognitive
The students will pick an object from a bag and describe it to their friends. The students have to guess what the person is trying to describe.

Children attending the Early Learning & Development Center will enjoy breakfast, lunch and two snacks each day. Parents will receive a schedule outlining the meals planned, a week prior. Accommodations will be made for all special dietary needs and restrictions.
