Dr. Daniel Gilbert earned his M.B.A. in general management and a PhD in human resource development through the University of Tennessee. In addition to teaching, his professional background includes two decades of executive-level human resource management positions for profit and not-for-profit healthcare organizations. In those HR roles, Dr. Gilbert considered himself to be an advocate for the employee. The reward of teaching, for Dr. Gilbert, is witnessing his students transform into better researchers and writers during the short time they are in the classroom. Daniel's personal interests include traveling, hiking, and writing.
