Helping our Students

Throughout the year, the GCU Guild organizes several "signature" events designed to raise money for scholarships awarded to GCU students as well as supporting the Grand Canyon University Spiritual Life Foundation's Canyon Student Emergency Fund.

Fuel for Finals: A semester ritual where cookies, drinks and words of encouragement are given to our students right before finals.

Dinner Theatre Gala: An annual event that includes a silent auction, dinner and theatre production aimed at raising scholarships funds and providing financial support to our students.

Chili Cook-Off: The heat is on during the annual chili cook-off during the Fall Festival  each October.

Orientation Booth: Each year we host an orientation booth that welcomes all new GCU students.

Because of the Guild, I have felt support during stressful times. The Guild’s generosity in both time and finances towards Fuel for Finals has really shown me how much the GCU parents care. What may look like a simple task from the students’ point of view actually takes a lot of hard work and dedication for the members of our guild.”
