2012 Commencement for the College of Nursing

The commencement ceremony for graduates of the College of  Nursing will be held:

Friday, May 4, 2012
10:00 a.m.
Grand Canyon University Arena

Graduates may send a THANK YOU message that they wish to be conveyed to their friends, faculty, family or peers during the comencement ceremony.

Schedule

Registration to participate in the commencement ceremony will open in early January 2012. Below please find a schedule of activities that graduates should follow. 

8:00am- Doors open to the Grand Canyon Univeristy Arena.

8:30am-  Graduate candidates arrive and check in- Arena concourse 2nd level.

9:30am- Graduate candidates should be seated . Reserved seating for graduates are on the floor of the arena.

10:00am- Ceremony begins. The celebration should last approximately 2 hours.

Guests

All guest seating will be general admission. Tickets are FREE, however tickets must be reserved by the graduate prior to the ceremony.

All tickets will be available for pick-up at the box-office will-call window starting on Monday, April 30. Please have your photo ID available.

NOTE FOR DIPLOMA: All students must complete and submit a Diploma Application and fee. Once your application has been processed, the Office of Academic Records will conduct a graduation audit and prepare your diploma for mailing. Please note that this process may take 4-6 weeks after your final grade has posted to your degree program. If you have not done so, please complete the application or contact your academic counselor.
