Human Anatomy Workshops for High School Juniors and Seniors

It's time to register your high school class for GCU's Human Anatomy Workshops.

These popular, FREE workshops will provide you and your students with an in-depth overview of various anatomical structures and systems of the human body.

All workshops are guided by trained student presenters who will describe and review the structures and functions of human organs, muscles, bones and vessels using human cadavers. Please note that our workshops are designed for high school groups of predominantly junior and senior students.

This is a unique opportunity and space fills up quickly, if you are interested in booking a workshop time for your students, please contact us as soon as possible.

Agenda
The Human Anatomy Workshop will include:
     -An opportunity to view and learn about our Cadaver Lab
     -A tour of the University Campus (optional)
     -Meal in the Student Union (optional)

Human Anatomy Workshop Reservations
Please email GOTB.HAWS@gcu.edu to reserve a day and time. Please include your high school name, contact phone number, email and preferred tour date and time in your email request.

Scheduling is arranged on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration forms will be sent after your appointment has
been confirmed.

Arrow Times

Workshops will be scheduled to start at various times, please inquire about specifics.

For planning purposes the workshop is scheduled to last 30-45 minutes.  

If you include a campus tour or lunch in your visit, please allow an additional 1.5-2 hours for the tour and 30-40 minutes for lunch.  Your total GCU experience will last between 2.5-3.5 hours.

Limited Space

To ensure the best experience, space will be limited to a maximum of 60 students plus chaperones. If you have over 60 people attending multiple timeslots will be reserved.

One chaperone is required for every 20 students attending.  

If you have fewer than 20 people attending you may be combined with another group.

Note: Demonstrator availablity may limit the number of students that may be accomodated on selected dates.
