A beautiful new 55,000-square-foot Student Recreation Center is now open to the University's students and staff.
Three full-size basketball courts are the centerpiece of this multipurpose facility. Two of the NBA-quality courts are available for students and staff to enjoy, and the third court has been designated as a practice court for the Antelope men's and women's basketball teams.
On the second floor, the wrestling team takes to the mats in a huge practice area. The Performance Athletic Center on the ground level is used for training by student-athletes. The second-floor Student Activity Center, equipped with weights and fitness machines, is available to the general student and staff population from early in the morning until late at night.
A second-floor studio is home to the University's dance and cheer teams and also is used for fitness classes. Up to 30 classes a week are expected to be offered, including aerobics, fitness boot camp, turbo kickboxing, PiYo, yoga and Zumba.
