Global Outreach

Global Outreach Ministry

Our Mission

Global outreach exists to mobilize a campus to become globally minded and ignite a passion in the student body to make a lifetime impact on disciples of all nations.

Staring the journey
We invite you to start the journey to developing a passion for the nations by taking the Global Tour and signing up to go on a Global Mission Trip. These two powerful steps will engage your heart and mind and give you the global foundation and experience you need to know how to move forward.

Global Tour
The Global Tour is a mini-course to learn more about the world and why missions are important. The tour is held on campus for just 2 hours a week for 4 weeks. On this tour, you will visit 4 different stops, 1 stop per week, each focusing on a distinctive global initiative that will ignite a passion for the great commission (Matt. 28). The first stop will focus on the urgency for believers to impact the nations. The second will be a more interactive experience with an international family. The third stop will be an informative insight into the life of a mission field worker. The fourth and final stop will be to discover how you can find your role in serving with global outreach at GCU. This tour is free for all students and for starting times, please contact us at go@gcu.edu.

Global Mission Trips
Global Mission Trips offer opportunities for students at GCU to join a team and go to a variety of locations overseas. Students can participate on a short-term team, 1-4 weeks, or on a summer-term team, 8-10 weeks, during either spring break or summer. Our trip motto is "Short-Term Trip. Lifetime Impact." For all trips we provide pre-trip training to help prepare you for an adventure you will never forget!

Global Prayer Team

Join the Global Prayer Team each week and engage the nations through uplifting prayer. There will be a time of prayer for specific groups, mission workers living on the field and GCU mission teams. The mobilizing of others to reach the nations begins with a foundation of prayer.
