GCU's New Life Singers are a premier traveling vocal ensemble, performing a wide variety of choral music. This talented group of students focuses mainly on modern praise and worship music while seamlessly weaving faith and fun into their spirited performances. The New Life Singers consists of 16 vocalists accompanied by a 5 member band.
The talent level spread amongst the group is truly extraordinary, as members of New Life Singers are selected from a highly competitive audition process and directed by Gabe Salazar.
Having just completed their inaugural year, the group celebrated over 100 performances at churches, schools and other venues throughout Arizona, California, Kansas, Colorado and Texas. Acting as ambassadors to GCU, the New Life Singers regularly travel to different parts of the country to share their love of music and Christ with churches, schools and other venues.
Recently, Gabe Salazar told GCU, "That's what we're here to do; to promote Grand Canyon University and what better way to do it than through music? It is the median to help connect everybody".
