Local & Global Outreach
Whether you live on campus, commute to classes at GCU or attend classes online, there are a variety of opportunities to serve others locally and globally. Local opportunities include "Serve the City", homeless outreach, and "Canyon Kids". Global Outreach opportunities in a local context include a refugee ministry and international student ministry that welcome the "nations" coming to Phoenix. There are also opportunities to serve on a Global Outreach Trip during spring break or the summer. This summer several teams are participating in Global Outreach trips to places such as India, Thailand, Africa, Fiji, Costa Rica, Peru, and Mexico.
The goal of Global Outreach is to mobilize the GCU community to develop a global heart and mind for the unreached people groups of the world and make impact that lasts a lifetime.
The goal of Local Outreach is to provide opportunities for the GCU family to engage the community to serve and share God's love.
