Welcome Week 2014

Calling All Volunteers:

#WeAreGCU

Show your service and spirit by volunteering at Welcome Week 2014!

Wednesday, Aug. 20
Thursday, Aug. 21

GCU is welcoming more new Lopes than ever before to campus. And we need help moving them all in!

Need more convincing? Check out our Top 5 Reasons to Volunteer.

5. Work up a sweat-exercise!
4. Get an awesome new GCU t-shirt
3. Meet your colleagues-make new friends
2. Give back (and build some muscles)
1. Make the college transition a smooth one for all our new students

We have three shifts to choose from, on both Wednesday and Thursday. Keep in mind, it will be HOT and all volunteers should be able to lift 10 pounds, stand for long periods of time and walk up flights of stairs. Complimentary meals will be provided.

The Early Bird: 6 - 10 a.m. (continental breakfast)

The Late Riser: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (lunch provided)

The Superstar: 6 a.m. - 1 p.m. (continental breakfast + lunch provided)

Register today by choosing a shift below and let the heavy lifting begin!

Volunteers working during their regular work shift on Wednesday, Aug. 20 and/or Thursday, Aug. 21 must obtain prior approval from their manager and permission will be granted based on work load and performance considerations. Timesheets should be coded "LTO" for the hours spent volunteering during work hours on these dates.

Attention Student Workers: This is NOT the application to be a part of the Welcome Crew. If you sign up to volunteer below, you are not able to move-in to the dorms early.

Volunteering is full.
