Holland Career Assessment Tests

A Holland Code career assessment test helps you find career job opportunities, career job descriptions, career search sites, and GCU college majors.

Holland career self assessment tests use Holland Codes to link vocational interests to college majors and job families. Holland assessments use a two or three-letter RIASEC or Holland Occupational Codes.

Different Holland Code job career questionnaire tests provide information on the relationship between job personalities and key characteristics, college majors, hobbies, abilities, and related careers.

With a job career test, you test your own job aptitude.

Career Key

The Career Key is an example of a Holland Code career assessment test.  The Career Key (CK) was first published in 1987 by the Ferguson Publishing Company. In 1997 the Career Key was launched on the Internet as a free public service primarily for middle and high school students. Since that time, more than 1000 schools, colleges, libraries, and career services have used the Career Key printed and on line versions.

The Career Key has been adapted for use in other countries. There are currently Korean, Caribbean, Spanish, and Romanian versions of the Career Key.  The Career Key is also being used in other countries, including Canada, Mexico, Argentina, New Zealand, India, Australia, Taiwan, Britain, and Singapore.

To take the career test, contact GCU Career Services.  The Coordinators will help you interpret the results and will be assist in creating college major or career goals.
