Student Employment Opportunities

Today more than ever, job candidates must be prepared, professional, and knowledgeable about the industries and companies they pursue. Career Services can help you anticipate what to expect, what to bring, and what information you should (or should not) share in an interview.  Take part in mock interviews to evaluate your professional demeanor and responses to typical interview questions.

Students can take advantage of opportunities to sharpen their job skills and earn some extra money by exploring Student Worker positions on campus.  Workers are hired on a short-term, temporary basis, usually by semester, and work twenty (20) hours or fewer per week.

Student employment falls under the Federal Work Study (FWS) or Non-Federal Work Study (NFWS) program, the Communities in Schools Partnership program (CSLP), and Job Location & Development Program (JLD).
