Technical Requirements

Students and faculty participating in online and Web-enhanced courses must have access to the following minimum hardware and software:

Please note that AOL, Safari, Google Chrome and other browsers are not supported for use with ANGEL 7.4. Additionally most mobile devices including web tablets, PDA devices and smart phones as well as many e-book reader devices do not support PDF files with embedded digital right management restrictions with require connecting to a livecycle policy server for authentication.

Microsoft Windows PC

Hardware

• Operating System:
  • Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) (minimum requirement)
  • Windows XP (SP2 or SP3), Windows Vista (SP1) or Windows 7 (recommended)
• Processor Speed:
  • 233 MHz Pentium II, or equivalent (minimum requirement)
  • 800 MHz Pentium III, or equivalent/better (recommended)
• CPU Memory:
  • 64 MB of RAM (minimum requirement)
  • 512 MB of RAM or more (recommended)
• Internet Connection:
  • 56 kbps dial-up with (minimum requirement)
  • Cable Broadband or DSL (recommended)
• Internet Browser:
  • Internet Explorer 8.0; Mozilla Firefox 8 (minimum requirement)
