Dr. William Brown earned a Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University. At Eastern Kentucky University, William received a Masters of Arts in Special Education and Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education, and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Additionally, Dr. Brown has written several articles on teaching in an online environment while working full-time and the value of an online degree. Professionally, Dr. Brown has a great deal of experience in the P-12 environment where he served as a teacher, principal, director of special education, assistant superintendent and superintendent. William spent the last ten years as a superintendent of a small district in Northern Kentucky. Upon retirement from the public school sector, Dr. Brown started working in higher education as a chair of curriculum and instruction for special education. Currently, William is a part-time instructor in Organizational leadership at Grand Canyon University. He has also served as a Chair of Curriculum and Instruction/Special Education in the Leadership Departments. Dr. Brown holds several educational certifications and has been thoroughly published on the subject of non-traditional, online universities.
