Biography

Dr. Maryanne Longo was awarded an Ed.D. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a concentration in Teacher Education in Early Child from Temple University. She also earned an M.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in curricular issues relating to classroom achievement, as well as her B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a concentration in preschool education from the same institution. Dr. Longo's rich professional background includes the following held positions: Acclaimed Early Childhood Educator, University Faculty in Higher Education, Literacy and Math Consultant for an Educational Corporation, Grant Writer, and Staff Development Design in Literacy and Math Acquisition.

Dr. Longo supports her students through learning by listening and fulfilling needs through interpreting them. Her mission is to share her extensive early childhood experience expertise with future educators. Outside of her teaching career, Maryanne enjoys reading, crafting, cruising, early movies, piano, and swimming. She has traveled the entire Continental United States and the Caribbean Islands.
