GCU is taking a stand - a stand against a disease that affects more than 2,500 Americans each day. Beginning February 1, 2010 GCU is going red to fight heart disease and create an awareness to lower the statistics. During this three year campaign, look for the Go Red logo and see how you can support the Go Red cause.

Participate in National Wear Red Day on 2/5
- February is National Heart Awareness month and on February 5, the nation will wear red to show their support for the fight against heart disease. Join GCU students, staff, faculty and alumni on 2/5 and wear you favorite article of red clothing in honor of the Go Red movement.
Do you have art in your heart?
- GCU is holding an art competition for all ages in support of its participation with National Heart Awareness month and the fight against heart disease. Artists may use their imagination to portray heart disease awareness and the importance of maintaining a healthy heart. Artists from elementary school age to adult will be eligible for prizes including pizza parties, bowling parties, $500 gift cards to Target stores and up to $1,000 for your favorite charity! Contest ends March 31st.
