Members of the Canyon Christian Schools Consortium (CCSC) will benefit in the following ways:
- High school students (grades 9-12) who are accepted to attend GCU will receive a $5,000 (on-campus housing) or $2,500 (off-campus housing) scholarship at GCU per year for each year of attendance at a coalition-member Christian high school. This could save students up to $20,000 on college tuition over the course of four years. The consortium member school will provide GCU with names and the number of semesters completed for each student. †
- President's Scholars in campus housing - up to $16,500*
- All other scholars in campus housing - up to $14,000*
- All other scholars living off campus - up to $11,500*
- CCSC members will have access to a catalog of dual and concurrent credit courses that current high school students can participate in, offering them an opportunity to reduce the time to complete a bachelor's degree from four years to three and reducing college costs by up to 25%.
- CCSC members will have access to an exclusive 15% discount for their staff, providing savings toward tuition for bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree programs at Grand Canyon University.
- CCSC members will have access to an exclusive 15% discount for their students' parents, providing savings toward tuition for bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree programs at Grand Canyon University.
- CCSC members will have access to GCU staff to make presentations to parents and students regarding financing Christian education and the GCU tuition scholarship.
- CCSC members will have access to GCU staff to make presentations to parents and teachers regarding GCU degree programs.
- CCSC members will have access to GCU for facility usage, subject to their availability. Details of this benefit, such as which facilities will be made available and the terms of their availability have yet to be decided upon, but if there is a charge for any facility use, CCSC members will receive a significant discount. CCSC members will receive preference over non-members for facility use.
- CCSC members will have access to GCU staff for professional development, student/staff speeches, sports camps, chapel.
- CCSC members will have the opportunity to participate in coordinated PR and marketing efforts.
- CCSC members will receive GCU branded and approved marketing materials. GCU marketing staff will review any materials designed by member schools.
- For Arizona based schools, GCU employees will be encouraged to give to the Arizona State Tuition Organizations (STO) in support of providing scholarships to students attending CCSC member schools.
