Events on Campus
Grand Canyon University provides a number of opportunities throughout the school year for students to experience our vibrant campus life. These have included annual traditions such as Discover GCU and Get on the Bus, along with opportunities to attend sports and theater events, or GCU sponsored conferences and competitions.
Get on the Bus
Grand Canyon University (GCU) provides weekly tours for juniors and seniors through the Get on the Bus program. A charter bus or a van (based on size of group) is provided by GCU to bring students and chaperones to campus.
The program includes:
- An extensive tour of campus
- A student panel of current GCU students
- Presentation on admissions and GCU scholarships
- Lunch
Theatre/Dance Matinees
Our College of Fine Arts and Production offers matinees of their current productions, during a school day for both fall and spring semesters.
Discover GCU
Discover GCU is an exclusive two-day event that allows high school juniors and seniors to experience college life on the GCU campus! Exciting activities include a chance to spend the night in the GCU dorms, meet other prospective students and more. This is the perfect way to find out what college life is really like at GCU!
ROTC Day
Would you like to find out what the Army is all about? Reserve Officer Training Corps may be the place for you! Grand Canyon University would like to invite you to join us for Army ROTC day. Come learn out about scholarship opportunities available to you and tour the GCU campus. Lunch is provided.
Health Sciences and Nursing Day
Students interested in pursuing a health care career won't want to miss this experience to learn more about available, high-demand health-related careers. This event is tailored toward high school juniors and seniors interested in health care professions. Learn from speakers working in various health related career fields, attend human anatomy presentations, visit display booths and participate in many other exciting activities. Lunch is provided.
Attend a GCU Sports Event
Life at GCU is not all about academics! One of the greatest aspects of our vibrant student life is our many athletic events. Grab a piece of the action by coming to see the Antelopes take on worthy opponents, where they are sure to play competitively!
