Grand Canyon University’s beautiful campus in the heart of Phoenix is a home away from home for our students. While learning at GCU, you can participate in our club sports to stay active, make friends, receive expert coaching and develop your teamwork and leadership skills.

On-Campus Club Sports Facilities

The club sports program at GCU offers an impressive range of state-of-the-art amenities and facilities for student-athletes. Select rugby and lacrosse events are held at the 6,000-seat GCU Stadium, which opened in August 2016. Prescott Field is home to the club sports lacrosse and soccer teams, along with the ultimate frisbee club. The GCU Track and Field features a full-length field and hosts the cycling, triathlon and running clubs. Colter Tennis Facility and Fields boasts two fields for club sports use and six courts for the club tennis team.

Off-Campus Club Sports Facilities

GCU’s ice hockey teams practice and compete at the AZ Ice Peoria facility, as well as take advantage of the world-class Gila River Arena for select high-profile games. The men’s and women’s club golf teams enjoy the expansive stretches of lush turf at the redesigned GCU Golf Course, and our club tennis teams hit the court at the Paseo Racquet Center.
