Dr. Gary Piercy earned a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University. Dr. Piercy received an M.A. in Biblical Languages with an emphasis on the Old and New Testament from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He also earned a B.A. in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Dr. Piercy's diverse professional background includes college and university teaching, pastoral ministry, business management, and entrepreneurial endeavors. He has held leadership positions in both for profit and nonprofit organizations. Many times, Dr. Piercy has been called upon to start new organizations or to turnaround existing organizations that were experiencing difficulty. The lessons he learned in these situations is that knowledge and experience, coupled with people and patience, offers opportunity for success.

Dr. Piercy's strategy for student success is to assume the position of a servant and offer his best to enable students to do their best. Dr. Piercy is married and has four children. He has traveled to the Middle East and South Wales to teach leadership seminars. Away from work, Dr. Piercy enjoys golfing, fishing, and reading.
