About our Performing Arts College

With a 50-year history, Grand Canyon University's Performing Arts College offers programs in theatre, dance, music, and a digital film major, emphasizing production or screenwriting.  GCU's Performing Arts College produces critically-acclaimed musical and theatrical productions as well as dance performances.

Our College of Fine Arts and Production prepares students with a curriculum that emphasizes a diverse appreciation for the arts.  Class sizes are intentionally kept small, so your instructors are able to give you the individualized attention you need to excel in a career in the arts.

At GCU's Performing Arts College, a uniquely-cooperative approach to teaching is implemented, where all fine arts students are located in one college so they are able to train collaboratively. This type of wraparound training prepares students for a future where their skills are able to cross over into other disciplines.
