Grand Canyon University now offers Nursing Programs in Canada

Nurses living and working in Canada may further their education by earning a nursing degree online. Grand Canyon University currently offers over 10 nursing programs including Bachelors, Master's and Bridge degrees in specializations including:

Health Care Informatics
Leadership in Health Care Systems
Nursing Education
Public Health
RN to BSN (Post RN Bachelor)

Nursing Program Requirements:

For those living in Canada and who which to enter our online nursing program, you must meet the following admission requirements:

Nursing Programs in Canada
  • Possess a current unencumbered, unrestricted license as a registered nurse in the Canadian province (excluding Quebec) where they are employed as an RN.
  • Signed and completed application for admissions, enrollment agreement and Canadian RN Verification form. Students are required to have previous coursework and degrees evaluated by a university approved evaluation service as indicated in the GCU policy handbook. GCU can also assist in the evaluation process, please contact an International Enrollment Counselor for more information. Non-English credentials are required to be translated by a certified translator at the time of submission.
  • Meet International Student Application Procedures as indicated in the GCU Policy Handbook.
  • Meet program and pre-requisite requirements as indicated in the GCU Policy Handbook.

Grand Canyon University has a dedicated team of enrollment, finance and academic counselors specific to serving our Canadian students. In addition, GCU has pre-established services with Foreign Credentials Services of America (FCSA) to perform professional evaluations for the students and Berlitz for those students who require a test of English as a foreign language.
