Department of Public Safety
The safety of Grand Canyon University's (GCU) students, faculty, staff and guests at our campus and satellite locations is a top priority. In addition to protecting our locations 24 hours a day, we have resources so you can report and respond to security issues. Students who bring visitors onto campus are responsible for informing them of campus safety regulations and rules.
If you are concerned for your safety, our on-duty public safety officers will escort you to your vehicle or assist if you have vehicle problems. Our blue light phones are around campus and in the parking garages so you can call for help or report a problem just by pressing a button. And, we ensure our student body is informed by the RAVE system by broadcast text if there is an emergency affecting the campuses.
GCU compiles reports to show that we meet the highest standards. Review the reports below, or go to the Consumer Information page for all of our reports and scorecards.
In the event of an emergency, call 911.
If you need assistance anytime you are on campus, please call 855-GCU-LOPE and ask for public safety.
