Staying healthy during college is essential, and we support your well-being through on-campus healthcare services and fully equipped fitness centers. Our library is conveniently located on the third and fourth floors of the Student Union, offering quiet study areas, research support and access to a wide range of academic materials. Whether you prefer to study in person or online, all students can take advantage of GCU’s extensive academic resources through our online library, which includes scholarly databases, digital journals, eBooks and 24/7 research tools to support your coursework and learning.

For all traditional ground students, GCU’s Academic Centers for Excellence (ACE) can help you with your toughest classes. Here, GCU students can help you with proper APA formatting, help you sharpen your writing and research skills and assist you with statistics, biology, chemistry, math and many other courses.

The Canyon Emerging Scholars (CES) program demonstrates our commitment to nurturing Christ-centered leaders through research serving others. Open to undergraduates across disciplines, faculty mentors guide you in addressing practical challenges. In 2024, 53 faculty members dedicated over 2,550 hours to mentoring CES students, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving and leadership with compassion and purpose. This transformative experience can advance students academically and vocationally through research with lasting impact.
