Dr. Heidi Phelps is a GCU alumna and the Executive Director of Student Services for Milan Area Schools in Michigan. She has worked toward this role through sustained dedication to both professional and personal growth. Dr. Phelps published “Teacher Inclusive Practices for Students with ADHD” to acknowledge and increase awareness of the problem of practice surrounding the often hidden disability of ADHD. Her professional focus centers on reflective practices that advance equitable opportunities for students with exceptionalities while fostering growth among teachers and administrators, ensuring inclusive practices are embedded across all educational settings.
