- Utilize computational tools such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel to evaluate and improve the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft designs
- Understand and select aerospace materials based on properties such as strength, weight, durability, and resistance to improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in aircraft structures
- Analyze aircraft structures to ensure they meet safety, performance, and weight criteria for operational loads and various environmental conditions

Apply principles of propulsion to design, and analyze aircraft propulsion systems for performance and efficiency.

Analyze the aircraft performance in various flight regimes, including takeoff, landing, climb, cruise, and maneuvering, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations
