  • Mechanisms of Disease and Therapeutics -
    Graduates of the Master of Science in Biology with an Emphasis in Education will be able to place graduate-level biology concepts within the context of real-world examples. Graduates will be able to:
    • Describe the mechanism of action of chemotherapeutic agents targeting infectious agents
    • Describe the contributions of various factors affecting enzyme function in normal physiology and disease
    • Describe techniques for the quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of factors affecting ecology and the environment
  • Advanced Biology Concepts -
    Graduates of the Master of Biology with an Emphasis in Education will be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of core concepts within biology. Graduates will be able to:
    • Communicate the concepts of biological organization at the cellular level
    • Explain the physiological processes that allow for the proper function of the human body
