Mechanisms of Disease and Therapeutics -
Graduates of the Master of Science in Chemistry with an Emphasis in Education will be able to place graduate-level chemistry concepts within the context of real-world examples. Graduates will be able to:

• Describe the mechanism of action of chemotherapeutic agents targeting infectious agents
• Describe the contributions of various factors affecting enzyme function in normal physiology and disease
• Describe techniques for the quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of factors affecting ecology and the environment
