Biography
I am Professor Aaron Casterline, an adjunct professor specializing in various cybersecurity subjects. I hold an undergraduate degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Cybersecurity and a graduate degree in Cybersecurity, both from GCU. At Paradise Valley Community College, I teach Ethical Hacking and Linux Basics, while at Grand Canyon University, I focus on Cyber Law and Privacy. Working as a cybersecurity architect for Honeywell Aerospace, I integrate my extensive real-world experience into the classroom, offering students both academic insights and practical knowledge. My teaching style is engaging and interactive, inspiring students to explore the dynamic field of cybersecurity with curiosity and critical thinking. Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking, spending adventurous times with my dogs, and conducting cutting-edge cybersecurity research. My dual role as an industry leader and educator uniquely positions me to enrich the curriculum with contemporary insights and hands-on experiences, bridging the gap between theory and practice. My commitment is to nurture the next generation of cybersecurity professionals by creating a learning environment that transcends traditional boundaries.
