Biography
Dr. Anna Edgeston serves as an assistant dean for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Grand Canyon University. Dr. Edgeston is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee. For over 25 years, Dr. Edgeston has worked in the mental health field gaining experience in working with diverse populations locally and internationally. Dr. Edgeston received her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and master’s in Professional Counseling from Argosy University, and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Freed-Hardeman University. Dr. Edgeston’s research interests include acculturation strategies of international students, multicultural counseling and development, and the role of spirituality in counseling and supervision.
