Biography
Dr. Bruce Gillies is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience in help organizations maximize their human resources through the application of the science of psychology. He has worked with Professional and College athletic teams, first responders, government agencies, and high tech organizations in improving organizational culture, climate, leadership, and practices. Bruce earned his Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University. He has chaired more than 50 doctoral projects and dissertations and served on committees for many more. Bruce has taught at such prestigious academic institutions as the University of North Carolina, Pepperdine University, and Webster University. He has been a Faculty Athletic Representative to the NCAA and mentored football, ice hockey, soccer (2023 National Champions), baseball (2017 National Champions, and volleyball (2015 National Champions) intercollegiate teams. Dr. Gillies continues to consult with organizations and teams internationally including Austria, France, and Mexico as well as within the USA. Dr. Gillies retired from the US Navy after a 22 year career including working on the flight deck of aircraft carriers, Human Resources Manager, Gas Turbine Systems Engineer, and Career Counselor. He retired at the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer.
