I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist who has been in the field in the Banner Health/Sonora Quest Laboratories system for over 17 years. I have held multiple roles - from a bench tech in the General Lab and Blood Bank, to Technical Coordinator (lead tech), Technical Specialist, Technical Supervisor, and currently am a Quality Consultant. I hold a Bachelor's in Biology and a Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology). My favorite department is Hematology, but I enjoy all General Lab departments and science in general! I even TA'd a summer Organic Chemistry course while in college! I am very passionate about sharing and promoting the MLS profession and career field!
