Biography
Registered nurse since 1993 (NCLEX date April 1993). Experience in Adolescent Pediatrics, Long and Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse as a clinical Nurse. Supervisory/Management roles for the last ten years of my career prior to beginning academic teaching in 2014. Experience as a Unit Manager, House Supervisor, Nursing Director and Facility Director for a free-standing ambulatory care clinic. Ten years with Indian Health Services working on six different reservations gaining a strong practice in cultural diversity and rural nursing care. Since 2014, have taught both in person and on-line in two ADN programs, on-line MSN program and two BSN programs, currently teaching for the GCU ABSN Program as a Didactic Instructor (remote).
