Biography
Diane Khalsa Marks, MA, COTA/L, is a dedicated occupational therapy practitioner and educator with extensive experience in program development, curriculum design, and accreditation. As the BS-OTA Program Lead at Grand Canyon University, she oversees the creation and implementation of a new Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Her background includes roles as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Assistant Program Director, where she has successfully developed clinical partnerships, supervised faculty, and ensured compliance with accreditation standards. With a diverse career spanning higher education, pediatric and adult occupational therapy, massage therapy, and wellness instruction, Diane brings a well-rounded and holistic approach to healthcare education. She holds multiple certifications in occupational therapy, massage therapy, and yoga, and actively contributes to professional organizations such as AOTA and ArizOTA.
