Biography
Kenneth Sherman, PhD joined Grand Canyon University in 2017. He holds a PhD in Business, MBA in Finance, and MS in Gerontology. Dr. Sherman has an extensive background in marketing and management, both as a scholar and as a business leader. He has over 25 years of management experience in the areas of strategic development, business process redesign, and marketing management. For over a decade he has worked in the educational content industry primarily serving the career college market. He has held leadership roles managing business development across the content supply chain from textbook and course design to the distribution of textbook materials. Dr. Sherman has presented papers and spoken at multiple post-secondary academic conferences on the subjects of digital learning, customized curriculum, and current trends in post-secondary education. He has served as a Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief at two peer-reviewed journals and was a co-researcher and recipient of several research grants awarded in the domain of business and education. Dr. Sherman empowers his learners to succeed and relishes in their success.
