Ram Aryal
Adjunct Faculty
Biography
Ram earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of North Alabama and his M.S. (Biology) from the University of Saint Joseph, Connecticut. He loves reading, biking, hiking, and playing golf with his family and friends in his free time. He fell in love with his teaching career when he first assisted a graduate teaching assistant in teaching a human biology lab class as an undergraduate teaching assistant at Auburn University, Alabama, in 2003. Over the years, he has served students as graduate biology interns, visiting teachers, and graduate assistants at two-year and four-year colleges. He knows what it takes to be a student raising and providing for your family and simultaneously pursuing higher education. For years, he has balanced his parental role and passion for learning and teaching human biology. He has also served as a medical assistant and minister for ethnic and indigenous people for over seven years. As an adjunct online faculty member at GCU, he has taught anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, applied pathophysiology, and microbiology courses. He is thankful to all his friends and families in and outside of church for sharing God's grace and love in Christ with him. He encourages all his students to weave prayer, faith, and diligent work. Ram has a strong work ethic. He believes in God's Word, love, and grace; success follows all who trust God, work hard, and give their best effort in everything they do. He encourages his students to study scriptures, take them by heart, and show themselves as approved. His favorite Bible verse is, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28, NIV.
