Biography
Over 15 years of emergency management experience working with the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency (DHS/FEMA). Having deployed into the field for 5 major hurricanes and one Typhoon, have extensive experience with all phases of emergency management: Prevention, Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery. As the Training office at the United States Naval Academy, experience in emergency management training and exercises for first responders/first receivers. 30 years of active duty Naval service.
