Biography
Dr. Fought graduated from University of Arizona in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech & Hearing Science. She then went on to complete a master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University. She completed a clinical fellowship year and obtained a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. After working in several pediatric and adult settings as a speech-language pathologist, Dr. Fought went on to complete a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy in 2017 from Northern Arizona University. She worked in a variety of settings within the healthcare and educational environments as well as starting a small private practice. She has been working in academia since 2023. In 2025, Dr. Fought also obtained her board certification in Physical Rehabilitation from the American Occupational Therapy Association.
